Quayside Facilities and Services
Kimberley Marine Support Base (KMSB) provides quayside infrastructure and marine services to support vessel, cargo and project operations within the Port of Broome.
Terminal 2 combines a floating wharf with cargo handling equipment, quayside laydown and essential vessel services, supporting efficient loading, unloading and vessel turnaround across a range of industries including offshore energy, livestock export, cruise, mining and project cargo.
Available services include a 125-tonne mobile harbour crane, RoRo capability, heavy lift and cargo handling equipment, approximately 5400 m² of just-in-time quayside laydown, potable water and brine supply, marine fuel access and experienced local stevedoring support. KMSB also provides access to high-flow marine fuel at Terminal 2 for approved account holders. Fuel access and billing arrangements are managed directly through the relevant fuel provider or authorised agent.
Customers work directly with the KMSB operations team to coordinate vessel visits, quayside services and operational requirements. Rate cards, booking requirements and terms are available on request.
